Ingredients: Glyceryl Stearate Citrate - Vegetable/Palm Free
This emulsifier is anionic in nature and is a useful secondary emulsifier in a cream or lotion. When used in skincare as an emollient, it acts as a natural lubricant to help keep skin soft and smooth, while also forming a barrier to prevent moisture loss.
It is used to thicken, improve the colour and transparency of products, making them more resistant to light, and stabilizes the overall formulation. Glyceryl stearate also has benefits to the skin, improving hydration and may help support the Natural Moisturizing Factors found in the skin.
This is derived from Canola oil and Corn and is 100% palm free. The product is of European Origin.
