Odour Guard is a multi-functional blend of gentle, biodegradable actives designed to reduce odour formation on the skin. It is designed to replace Triclosan in cosmetic formulations.
Odour Guard can be used as a key functional active in your deodorant, intimate hygiene and comfort, oral care, hand cleansers and general skin and scalp cleansing formulations, for both rinse-off and leave-on applications.
In addition to its antimicrobial action, Odour Guard also acts as a powerful antioxidant. When its antioxidant capacity was measured against a standardised vitamin E solution, it was found to perform better across the concentrations tested.
Solubility: Glycols, alcohol, avocado oil, cosmetic esters.
pH range of efficacy: 3-10.
Heat Stability: Average, generally added during cool down but can tolerate some time in the hot phase.
