Ingredients: Phenethyl Alcohol
An aromatic alcohol that is used as a fragrance and an antimicrobial preservative in cosmetic formulations.
A common ingredient in flavours and perfumery, particularly when the odour of rose is desired. It is used as an additive in cigarettes.
Benefits: Antimicrobial, beautiful rose like aroma.
Applications: Preservative (anti microbial) with solvent powers.
Material Origin: Natural.
Solubility: Up to 2% water solubility and can also be added into emulsions.
Heat Stability: Good. Best added when the product has cooled to below 50C, but can tolerate heats of up to 80C for a short time.
