Ingredients: Rheum Palmatum Root Extract (Min. 9% Anthaquivone)
The Rhubarb Root has a long history in herbal medicine, and its genus name Rheum is believed to come from the Greek "rheo", meaning "to flow" in reference to it's purgative properties.
Rhubarb is rich in antioxidants, particularly anthocyanins (which give it its red colour) and proanthocyanidins. These antioxidants have anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer properties, which help protect you from many health-related issues such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.
When used externally, this herb is useful in the topical application for the treatment of minor skin disorders.
