Ingredients: Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil
This oil thickener has been created by hydrogenating a vegetable oil to turn it into a hardened wax.
Vegetable oils are known to have numerous health benefits; primarily it is the major source of energy and a carrier of essential nutrients which are vital for growth and metabolism, protecting brain cells, reducing the risk of heart diseases and more.
This wax can be added to your oils to give them structure and to boost viscosity. The ingredient is highly stable and has a very low odour, making it very flexible and attractive for a wide variety of formulations.
Appearance: Off white fine granule.
Origin: 100% Natural.
Function: Stabilises water in oil emulsions, thickens oil-based products, enabling the production of more stable and richer massage oils, balms and butters.
Melting Point: 60C.
Use Level: From 1-15%
Use Instructions: Add this ingredient to your oil phase prior to heating and then heat, melt and mix together. The product will thicken as it cools.
